If the democratic countries (some would say plutocratic) countries are not going to use the why don't they just scap them? There is no excuse, none, zero, zilch for having them. ************************************************************

Do use them even on a smaller scale...even a minute scale......
Without them, we'd be over-run....not tomorrow.....but in time...if we only had conventional weapons, we would find ourselves with our backs to the wall.
Have a look at little Israel........The Arabs, including the Iranians know they can only go so far......they are not prepared to take "the absolute risk".
They know what will happen to them if they do.
If they (Iranians) had nukes and Israel did not, you think they wouldn't have used one by now?
They couldn't care less if they wiped out the Palestinians in the process as long as they got the Jews.
