1. Syria is Russia's only seaport access to the Mediterranean. Do you really think Russia will simply shrug/sigh and move on?
2. Iran is not Iraq. Iran has a 70 million population of Persians. They don't give up. They suffered more than 1,000,000 killed when 'Iraq' (et al) attacked them in the 80's and it didn't faze them. They survived.
3. I believe that world war is coming. Most of the world will lose. Most of the world always does.
