Logical. Bombing an operational nuclear reactor would have an effect that would make Fukushima seem but a backyard grass fire, and constitutes a War Crime. The US cant be seen committing War Crimes in an election year, can it? So it would be logical for Israel to do the job, as it's immune to UN censures. The US could then nuke Iran as a humanitarian gesture to give relief to people dying from radiation poisoning. Obama's stakes would rise in the race for votes. Briliant.
