I knew about the Reaper shot down by the Houthis (but they have shot quite a few down based on converted SAM's launched from trucks), but it's blacked out by mainstream media or they would have to talk about the regular bombing of school buses, infrastructure and war crimes being committed on the Yemeni people. The Sawdies are loosing the war with Yemen and they are deliberately killing civilians, destroying hospitals, factories, water treatment facilities, electricity grids and vital infrastructure and using starving as a method to win the war while the Yemeni resistance begins to take the fight further in Saudi Arabia and has started to target their oil infrastructure and airports with refurbished soviet and indigenous rockets over the past month.
It's quite possible there is a connection but the Houthis have been regularly shooting down drones, aircraft and helicopters. Many are reported as technical glitches to cover up the improved ingenuity of the Yemeni people.
What Trump doing about it...He is sending more bombs, intel, military contractors, logistics and weapons deals for the Sawdies to continue the siege warfare on millions. What a man of peace.
To be clear the Houthis aren't Iranian backed (the majority worship a different version of Shai Islam) .... they may have very limited Iranian support on an international and technical level, but it's practically impossible to support them militarily with the country completely blockaded by military forces including the US even if they wanted to assist them.
