Israel has nukes but they are not the only one in the region to have these. Pakistan has them too. Can anyone confidently say that Iran does not have them?
Just possessing nukes is not a deterrent anymore at the risk of a WW3 nuke-geddon. Russia has publicly warned that if the US sets foot in Iran, they will come to Iranian aid. I don't see China passively sitting back knowing that they could face the same dilemma as Russia and Iran in the future.
We have now entered a Mexican stance.
