I only we could rewind 25 years. Support the invasion of Saudi by Saddam Hussein after he took Kuwait. Saddam would have stamped out that Wahabi crap. Support Assad, Mubarak and Gaddafi like they were our best friends. The trillions spent on Iraq War 1 and 2 should have been spent developing these countries as SECULAR, totalitarian states the way the Arabs like it, educate the people and annihilate with extreme prejudice (Saddam was good at that) any Islamist that popped their heads up. The Bathist block of Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi under Saddam would act as a natural bulwark against the Shia Iran.
