Whats the alternative here?...Does the US and it's allies (us) go into Iran and fight another unwinnable war in search of WMD's?
What comes after Iran? Do we then go into Syria when their programme reaches a certain point?..Then Egypt? What happens when the Saudis get close to becoming nuclear? Then we do it all again 5 years later after they've had a chance to regroup?
It is inevitable that more countries will become nuclear capable. Trying to prevent it is a folly IMO.
