A country close by changed from US dollars to Euros a number of years ago. Shortly afterwards it was occupied. This moved will certainly increase the value of the Yen and the Euro and put more pressure on the US dollar. If other countries start trading in Yens and Euros soon no one will want to buy US dollars. This could have major effect on world markets.
