    well it could have been put more elegantly and accurately

    but yes re introducing the gold standard could be very tough for those countries that dont have any

    the US has the most and they have the rest locked up on US soil

    The US demanded this at Bretton Woods

    Eventually though fiat/credit always fails, it might be different this time but its not likely
