I am sorry Pint's this is a western financed think tank that spews standard neocon propaganda, it’s purely for western consumption. The fact it’s a very new shiny creation (2018) that Google’s algorithm hides their members backgrounds very well immediately raises red flags. It’s just a regime change shop front with the usual suspects promoting the same distortions and rubbish like the woman without a scarf propaganda like all the colour revolution tripe I have seen over the years.
There are so many half truths in this talk and deliberate misinformation. The Iranian people have been accustomed to more sanctions and economic embargo by the US for decades they can function without US dollars, how is now any different to the more and more sanctions. It’s like a bully who is smacking a weaker child who won’t hand over the lunch money. If I smack harder maybe he will obey my orders the little ‘deplorable’ creature who doesn’t know his place in the system. What they are going to praise the US for caring about them because of the sanctions. All it does is the opposite what they claimed it will do, just like in Russia it makes them more resilient to western backed regime change for 'democracy'. They deliberately put these Iranian ‘experts’ in the media to make it look like they know the views of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Boggs down the road, it’s utter lies they are paid to keep this delusion going. It’s very simple if you want to get the masses in to ‘liberating’ Iran in war you have to have them believe they want to be liberated. The same delusions where coalition soldiers in Iraq believed the Iragi people would be running out off the streets throwing flowers when they overthrew Saddam. It wasn’t flowers the locals were throwing it was bullets from AK47’s, granades and IED’s for the 'liberators'. No different to the Afghan rubbish we are still being feed with they love us and want us to stay.
People cheering this on can’t see you are being preconditioned to war and more lies. Just like all the other lies we are being feed in the past to invade Iraq twice, Libya, Afghanistan etc…..
Turkey however is likely a different story as that country could easily fragment and disintegrate into civil war for the factors Grindstone mentioned along with the ethnic divisions. Turkey will be an easier target for regime change the US is intending (send out the headchoppers).
