The ideal position for a pilot to withstand very high G-forces would be virtually prone on one's back. Sitting back with knees drawn up high is at least part way towards this. Ejector seat? Maybe brave Iranian pilots dont need them? Think of the weight they would save? The Japanese Divine Wind pilots did not wear parachutes.
