iraq....an idealogical war

Now that the US is fighting all of Iraq the war is becoming more about different idealogies rather than WMD or terrorist links; as many have commented, it always was. A tyranical regime has been removed but only another tyrant will be able to control Iraq. At the moment the US will have to fill that role. It will be interesting how long they will be able to do this in the face of criticism at home. They do not have to look far to see where they are heading..the Gaza Strip/West Bank. Can the Western way be imposed on a country in the Middle East with completely different religions and ethics. This policy failed in Vietnam and Americans will not want to see a repeat.
