One thing I could not but help note in the newsclips, was how well armed and organized the isis fighters looked -- seems they have come a looooong way from when Iraq was first invaded.
Back then it was inconceivable that Australia would ever be in a situation of having to fight forces like that at home -- now I'm not so sure.
Might well take years for that to happen but it does now not seem impossible, and that is worrisome
