re:chicken8: iraq has executed pow's: pentagon chook, what a good teacher would be telling his students is that the first real casualty in war is the most important one: truth; and we won't know the truth until all the lies have been exposed which won't happen until long after the war ends; that's why we should never have a war. Madmen will begin kneejerk operations, throw bombs left, right and centre and make excuses for their abominable mistakes. A good teacher will also try and teach them not to use one mad ruler's actions as an excuse for them to commit the same mad action. Finally, that teacher would scrutinise every bit of that information: where it came from, how it came to our hands, is what we see the reality?
And then the teacher would tell his students to go out and protest with all their might. War is always wrong because war always kills the truth! Civilization is dead without truth. Forget the idiots who call you names. War is wrong!
