My guess is a defacto US puppet govt. -- ie. an Iraqi faction sympathetic to the US which will need to be increasingly propped up by US military strength.
In short, a recipe for further destabilisation.
After the US pulls out nothing is going to magically improve - quite the contrary, I think.
