Yes Chuck I supported the invasion to remove Saddam and his cohorts.
You may also recall though that I did not think the US would be able to do much with the country afterwards and that it was really up to the Iraqi people to grab the chance to improve their country.
I think some are trying but maybe the job will be too difficult because of the deep divisions and entrenched hatreds within.
I think foreigners should now leave and let the civil war begin as this seems to be the only way to sort the country out.
From a tactical point of view the US has achieved it's aim of showing the leaders of other terror supporting moslem countries in the region that they will be dealt with severely if their countries continue to support terrorists, at least if openly doing so.
Also most of the terrorist suicide bombers seem to be fully occupied in Iraq and leaving us alone which is OK by me.
