sorry to interrupt just my two cents, although watching beazley last week on question time he presented a very thorough and compelling speach as to why howard should bring the troops back. howard is bound by the allies unspoken code it seems.

if the opposition were hypothetically in power and did not do their utmost to bring all the aussie troops back they would be nothing but a bunch of hypocrites.

my thoughts are all of the worlds troops should have exited last year as nothing is being resolved and is and always was a domestic dispute, primarily religious.
