Perhaps the US and Brits are paying the price of trying to conduct a "humane war".
Rather than conducting a modern war using ancient roman methods that actually worked." (the longer the seige, the more horrific the retribution, total annihilation of the population, levelling the entire city and salting the soil so that nothing would ever grow there again")..............No we cant do that, theyre the methods used by the other side, but i dont see too many squeels of "no fair" from the useful idiots when they do.
Maybe the US is taking casualties because they were bombing tanks and artillery pieces that were strategically located in civilian areas with smart bombs made of """concrete "", with no high explosive in them.
Designed soley to take out the tank crews but minimize killing the civilians nearby. What a lot of trouble these barbarian invaders go to, compared to the more effective methods of the valiant resistance fighters,..like gassing the whole city or intentionally bombing public places, the more civilians the better.
The US is taking punishment for being "soft"...and they get attacked for it....by their own side.
PS. Kut is retaken , and any Vietnam comparisons will be limited to Fallujah being the Baathist and Jihadi thugs own Dien Bien Phu.
