    Towie I think it would be fair to assume they would have been getting an 'above parity' price which was good for pool returns back then. But the point is they have abused the single desk powers they have tainted, perhaps irrepairably, the wheat industry's reputation. Not to mention the lack of investment into value adding infrastructure on our own soils by multinational companies. Look at the midwest of the US and you will see the amount of industry that is generated as a result of value adding grains into just about anything. Instead we are stuck with single desk marketers who find it easier to send the product abroad and profit without any investment into the industry's future!
