What I object to Trendtrading is the government overregulating the farming sector and keeping it bordering on abject poverty! The AWB is a government sanctioned monopoly and it is stealing from the pockets of farmers. You want to talk about lost lives. All farmers sadly know more than a few who have committed suicide whilst trying to make a go of it. And there will be more this year. Rising costs, low commodity prices, and widespread frost damage. I am not one to complain for I choose this life but I can't help but wonder who is going to be interested in growing food in the future. We are the most efficient wheat producers in the world so if we are in pain, most other producers are too.
