I'm not sure that Mr Ruane would be too happy with that sort of capping behaviour. This is his house and he holds all the cards. Its not like there wouldn't be a myriad of takers for any placement. All he has to do is protact any negotiations and the capping firm would run the risk of losing more shares by the day and the possibility of not getting any placed shares.
Lets see how this unfolds ...
