And because you do not understand and have experienced anything significant in your life that would lead to a greater belief in a higher being, that all those people who have such experiences must be deluded?

Only a fool speak of certainty of absense when discussing God even if only because it is such a deeply held belief by so many people...
You many indeed live your life with a complete absense of existential and compelling experiences that lead you to question and eventually get a glimmer of some understanding... But that is just your mis-fortune to miss out...
