Some nice coverage and shared content. It's very plain to see there is huge demand building and a swathe of geopolitical/ sociopolitical influences providing a strong tail wind.
As a long time holder, the only issue that grates me when I read The Australian article is that COB and Joe are talking a great fight, others are getting deals done. There is a list of off-takes and FID and early stage developments across the Australian states. I'm by no means saying we should rush to do deals (particularly if we can secure better commercials through waiting) and certainly not if by waiting we can reduce funding costs and improve economics. I am though a bit frustrated at the SP impacts of uncertainty.
Given the number of projects and interest/demand projections for Cobalt I'm almost beginning to wonder if COB's true value is in production IP and not in the mine itself. Has anyone done any numbers on licensing IP / outsourcing production v mining?
