An update to this. I found a post stating that you don't pay for ASX live data (if IB gives you ASX data for free) if you connect your TradingView account with IB or any other listed brokers (that already give you live data).

So you pay for the TradingView option that you want, then connect to a broker listed in TV - Interactive Brokers for example.

Here is the post I found about it....

Here is tip that can save you money.

You don’t have to buy ASX data just use broker sources from TradingView listed brokers.

    IBKR, Eightcap for example.

    Cons to IB:
    - Bad reviews & comments online.
    - Not Chess sponsored
    - Checked youtube vids of their TWS program and will need some time to learn
    - People talking about missing money and transfers not showing up with no support.
    - Takes weeks to get some things resolved / for support

(Not sure what to believe lol)

Not sure If I'll go with IB but thought I'd post if others wanted to. You can then get away with just signing up to a TV account and if you're happy with IB, connect and save on the live data and also trade directly off the charts.
