Nothing. Have been an Iress user for years. Retail is in the IDGAF basket.
Not like there will be a class action either, which when you think about it: charging for a finance tool that is not working would normally end up in.
But I do not want to see this end up in a lawsuit. Not that we would see any proceeds anyway.
Iress USED to have the BEST trading product in the world. Clearly the staff and management that built that have moved on, but I want them to fix this crap and get back to being the best.
I would suspect this means going back to a bespoke download like MooMoo have done using TCP pipes like WebIress used to..
But please give us back our Excel RTD data!
Is it any coincidence that Goldman Sachs trading profits are going through the roof whilst retail are getting hammered with half-arsed cloud based implementations like Viewpoint? I do not think so.
Come on Iress. Do the right thing. If MooMoo can have an exe on a Windows desktop, you can too. You can always serve this cloud rubbish to everyone else.
