I spoke to one of the half backs at Commsec as well, its was passed off as a problem with Iress and the 'new chart build'. The only thing this guy could say was was clear the cookie / browser history. This doesn't address the functions and what's been taken away with the chart setup, - the lines cant be thickened, the different shades of gastric green, the screen is too small and cant be enlarged, I have only been able to open one main chart and one other widget with another stock but same chart set up, one will drop out randomly and once it freezes dont try click anything again otherwise its a 5 minute process to get that first chart back up again - this is impossible and completely unusable for signal or day trades. I tried the Trading view platform today as the individual user, not the pro or premium. The chart can be set to exactly what it used to be and with extra options ( as Hingdog already said). However i think its a 20 minute delay in real time info and i couldn't find where or if you can open different widgets to have other stocks open as well with the same chart setup. Also i couldn't find anywhere you could open up the buy sell screen and the last 20 trades - these options may be there but i didn't spend much time on it so these functions may be there but haven't seen them yet - for this i think its around $35 per month.
There are so many complaints here i forget who first mentioned it but it was to do with the weekly candle and day candle. I checked this on other stocks and its the same for some reason. If you go from weekly to daily the candle shows the 5/7, but if you go from say hourly to daily it shows correct as 3/7.
What a colossal F-up this is, my complaint to Commsec came with a reference number so maybe it will be recognised, but complaining here wont change jack sht.
Its like we were all driving around in a nice or new car last week, this week we have been given an old Datsun with no air con, power steering and since subscription was due we just paid rego for it.
Keep complaining and if it doesn't change eventually someones revenue will, if its not usable or worth the $82.50 per month subscriptions will disappear.
