You are right though, the likes of Elon Musk as well as traditional vehicle manufacturers such as Ford, Chrysler and GM are very keen to source local lithium and the hydroxide precursor via spodumene is preferred. The U.S car sector electrification is coming up from a low base - rapidly expanding fourfold the previous year, so demand push is really strong.
My confidence is also fuelled by the Piedmont crew coming on board. These guys are company builders. Anyway, I have happily bought into this lithium play as I can see the capital growth potential is very high. The drilling results will be exciting I think.
