    Lets start with the very first claim like Jambo wanted to..
    "The Irish slave trade began when James II sold 30,000 Irish prisoners as slaves to the New World. His Proclamation of 1625 required Irish political prisoners be sent overseas and sold to English settlers in the West Indies."

    Well King James II was not born until 1633 and did not come to power until 1685, amazing how someone who is not even born yet is selling Irish slaves??
    PS he was also a Catholic... so the article saying he was persecuting Catholics is again made up hogwash
