Recently I changed states. To obtain a driving licence in the new state they would not accept my current licence for identification in the new state. they needed to see a certified copy of my birth certificate. To get the certified copy of my birth certificate they used my current drivers licence as identification, 3 hours time lost and $50 in fees for the certified copy of the birth certificate. Only stayed there a few months, changed states again and hey presto, guess what!.
