I might be adding to the speculation, but I'm going to through a different theory out there.

I think the reason for the recent increase could be that Bryan and co are finally getting out there and presenting to brokers etc or doing some sort of road show. My reason for this is as follows.

HIO released its quarterly update on 28 October and then had its AGM on 16 November 2021, including a presentation from Bryan with updates on what has been achieved and planned. Therefore, the market should have been fully updated on all things HIO.

Then, three days after the AGM on 19 November 2021 there is an ASX announcement titled "Company Update". This is a power point slide show or similar. I noticed this last night and wondered "Why did HIO need to make a company update three days after the AGM. What has changed?".

Today I went and compared the AGM presentation slides with the Company Update slides. The slides are virtually identical apart from some changes to font size - that is until slide 17. Slide 17 on the Company update is a summary of key PFS data.

My thoughts are what reason would there be for lodging the Company Update presentation with the ASX if HIO was not using this presentation to present, possibly to brokers or similar. That would be a really good reason to include a PFS summary as that is information that brokers would want to know and should get them excited.

Could the reason for the increased interest in HIO be that management are finally starting to increase the market awareness of HIO (as they said they were going to)? The timing would fit with the company update being announced on Friday 19th and the volume increase starting on the following Monday. If this type of interest is created from the start of management increasing the market's awareness of HIO, it will be really interesting to see what happens if they keep this up (and I hope that they do).

Love to know posters thoughts on the update to the timelines as per the latest presentation. Those changes wouldn’t have been made lightly especially after how Brian spoke about how they were challenging in his ABC interview recently.
