Hi mate, I think many here acknowledge that HIO's plans are ambitious. I'm in SA myself on the Yorke Pen and I know how many deep sea port proposals have failed over the years. I can also see that you're a passionate croweater and recognise the importance of Cape Hardy for the various iron ore and grain producers in the region. I think a 70mt facility would be awesome, IF it gets built.
Having said that, I'm not sure why you seem to be so fixated on HIO's issues here and on other forums. Around a month ago you raised some great points and received some detailed responses in turn. I think it's important to reiterate that people much smarter and in-the-know than us lowly shareholders are working on the very issues you raise as we speak.. In your "search for hard truths" and an avoidance of "BS", it would be nice if you could at least give management the opportunity to present the BFS which should be here in less than a year. In the interim, I'm happy to engage in an objective discussion about output, ports, water access, and the slurry pipeline. Since your iron ore hold has a couple of the same problems, I'm sure you have some interesting thoughts to share.
If it fails, then it fails. But as it stands at the moment, HIO is obviously more attractive to the market and no-one can blame shareholders for their excitement. Gains are gains at the end of the day.
