As I was in lockdown I reflected on this whole situation. We have a virus that only apparently impacts the elderly. If we get any cases we pretty much go into lockdown. The people who get these cases are always able to go to multiple places despite having this deadly disease. They have better social lives while having this deadly disease than I normally have.
We have a so called vaccine that the governments are telling us doesn’t stop the spread, doesn’t stop you getting it, and may have side effects. People are expected to get the jab despite it being around for not a lot of time.
Our freedoms have been completely eroded. Why can’t we make our own choice about whether we risk Covid, risk the jab. Those who are scared of Covid can get the jab if they choose, or isolate themselves. Lockdowns are causing huge issues for the mental state of our country and we are doing this for nothing. We have become a nanny state with unrivalled power and a mass media that does no investigations into the consequences and facts.
I know this post will get flack from the usual suspects, but take a helicopter view of the situation and you will understand what this has done to our economy, freedoms, and mental state. Many are living in fear of a virus that only impacts a very small minority who now have a choice to brave the jab if they so wish or isolate.
