At least 1 listed Australian bank will not take directors guarantee as security and i would imagine the same for all other banks.
What good it is to take their guarantees? Do they have capacity to repay should the loan being called. In the view of the banks, it is employment with he company while he is responsible for it operations, but not liable for its debt.
