Yes the hope this stock will happen is a belief but the facts do no point in that direction.

A man with reason still hold his values but always always test his/her believes wit fact

A wise man is not scared to change his believe when the fact differ from his believe.

A stubborn and foolish man keep believing even so the fact contradict his believe.

Example the world is not round, even so great explore went to prove it was round and made profit from this.

The people that believe it was square .....

Hence my point at the start .. people confuse fact with a believe on here.

I think this is the disorder people who have listen to bad advice are having - when people have believe for so long in SDL and now are forced to face a fact it not going the best. If you are having stress "Cognitive dissonance" like this. You should seek help.
