IRON ORE ALLIANCE
The Directors of Royal Resources Limited (“Royal”) are pleased to
announce Royal has been accepted as a member of The Geraldton
Iron Ore Alliance (“Iron Ore Alliance”).
The Iron Ore Alliance was formed on the 6 December 2005, for
the purpose of developing Australia’s fastest growing iron ore
province in the Mid West Region of Western Australia.
The Iron Ore Alliance’s objective will be to:
• Liaise with governments, industry groups, non government
organisations and community groups, particularly relevant
departments and agencies of the Western Australian
Government, the Western Australian Chamber of Minerals and
the Energy and the Association of Mining and Exploration
Companies on key issues of infrastructure, regional
development and community relations;
• Promote the development of appropriate common user and
other infrastructure and work closely with all stakeholders in
the region to optimise the utilisation of existing infrastructure;
• Work closely and cooperatively with the Geraldton Port
Authority and other stakeholders to enhance the efficiency and
capacity of the port; and
• Liaise with community groups and stakeholders including
Government agencies to address issues arising from the
expansion of the iron ore industry.
The members of the Iron Ore Alliance include Gindalbie Metals
Limited, Golden West Resources Limited, Midwest Corporation
Ltd, Mt Gibson Iron Limited, Murchison Metals Ltd and Royal.
Royal is pleased to have been invited to join the Iron Ore Alliance
and looks forward to making a strong and useful contribution to
the ongoing development of this exciting region.
