    Hotwolf amazing words, we also see the gov opening up free trade in the dairy sector which at first glance looks like a positive until you realise how much of Australia's dairy is now actually Chinese owned..

    So I'm not bright enough to understand exactly how that 9% short of FMG's stock actually plays out on predicting it's future share price.

    Obviously someone expects the price to further decrease however is that sentiment going to affect market mood? Is there a fundamental analysis perspective that would help us use this shorting information to predict future FMG share price? Opinions, explanations anyone? (I see JB Hifi is 12.41% shorted yet it seems a much safer stock at debt/equity 61% and much less risk exposure as a retailer I would assume..)

    As a theoretical, if someone incredibly rich 90% shorted a small companies shares on issue, what would the expected result be?
