Another one that comes to mind is BCI. When you look at management's approach, the stock has a similar air about it to CAP. BCI is closer to production however their resource is smaller. While they don't have a headliner JV like CAP do, they seem to have a decent financial position. Worthy of a watchlist entry in my opinion and see if you can get lucky and pick it up around the sub $2.50 mark at some stage.
While I agree that there are other iron ore small caps out there to mingle with, it is vitally important that an exploration company has a good financial position. You don't want lots of capital raising and dilution getting in the way of multi-bagger potential now do you? I won't shout down those suggesting LEG but at the end of the day you want the company to be building their own value, not using a stepladder (SDL hype) to propel the share price.
If you're chasing a more mid-cap iron ore play, I strongly urge you to look into both GRR and SDL. Both stocks will be iron ore powerhouses within the next decade.
