Everybody's now whinging they're too slow, too methodical. We want action!
Well the guy running the company has 14.2 million shares. If the share price gets to 10c that's $1.42 million, at 30c it's $4.26 mill, at 50c it's $7.1 mill. Put yourself in his shoes are you going to be making rash decisions because some day traders want the price pumped up so they can offload a few hundred thousands shares. Are you going to head down the path of doom taken by VRE, BMO, BDG, SGW (Sons of Gwalia), etc by rushing into production. The answer's NO! It took them years to explore and mine Mandilla West but in the end they made a $10 million dollar profit. If (or when) Koongie Park gets into production you'd have to be reasonably sure that it'll be profitable. Even at the moment the likes of AED, AUZ and MRX are
skating on thin ice. There costs exceed production income each quarter. Unless there production income significantly increases they're doomed as well.
For the short term traders there is light at the end of the tunnel. For the first time in years they're going to be doing some greenfields drilling instead of resource extension drilling. They've spent years drilling the Mandilla East and West deposits so they must have some
knowledge of the geology of that area. They're not a company to do things on a whim. I would expect they must have some confidence in finding something in the new drilling program. I think Angus has topped up his shareholder in anticipation of this. He's bought 700,000
shares at an average of 7.3c. He's sitting on a $7,000 loss already. He could have left that money in the bank earning him interest.
I'm sure if they find something they will announce it to the market straight away. I think it's better that they don't get people's expectations too high. Any good news will have a major impact on the share price. For the gamblers out there AAR could bounce back over the next few months.
