That Aurizon rail is only a line on a page right now.
Wonder if the topography and key players would allow the line to be aligned further to the north on it's way to McPhee Creek.
Another thought based on a sizable deposit being proved up at Corunna Downs..... Given the uncertainties in the iron ore market, would be it more prudent to run the rail to Corunna Downs, instead of all the way to McPhee Creek? Presumably, capital costs would be lessened, and it would appear that Corunna Downs is higher grade than McPhee Creek in any case. The rail could then be extended to McPhee Creek in another decade or two.
