BHP and RIO production costs would certainly not see them making a "motza" at $35/tonne. Here is a quote from RIO in December:
“We’ve got an aspirational target that we’ve had out for several years — which was by 2020 we would achieve a CFR-landed China cost of $US35.50 — which means a cost considerably lower than $US20 a tonne,” said Mr. Harding.
If the cost landed in China is aspirational in 2020 at $35.50 - well - you do the math as they say...
