Can you explain a bit more what fundamentals you are referring to? I actually bought into FMG because the fundamentals are very favourable...So many people argue about debt but when you consider the net profit and look at the interest cover its a non issue. Book value has increased a lot over the last several years, debt has been decreasing, ROE is high. Overall the company is making more money than what interest they have to pay for the debt, so why is that an issue? As long as a company is profitable I don't see why it matters how much debt they are in, of course, if they cannot manage their debt then its bad. But it doesn't make sense that you are just looking at the debt and not the profit or interest cover and just say FMG is fundamentally horrible, sell before they bankrupt...
