It's not possible to track the Iron Ore spot price live as you suggest.
Cargoes are sold at different prices through out the day, but the "Platts spot price" the international recognised spot price is published once a day.
You can view the SMX and there futures market but that is not the spot price and is not nearly as helpful in determining the spot price as the Dalian exchange.
I don't know what your tracking exactly perhaps you can provide a link so we can understand what your talking about.
Platts publish the price to their subscribers "only", to make money!
It wasn't always the case.
