I think Barnett, Abbott (who refere to Forrest as Andrew) and Hockey (all are pretty chummy with Twiggs) realize the biggest threat now is China taking advantage of this self-inflicted madness to take over Australian IO assets (which will not be in Rio's and BHP's long term interest).
As I said, once we have a Baosteel guy on the FMG board then (with unlimted capital), the Chinese may as well own the whole Pilbara.
