I think it is relevant, as it opens up a new discussion in Canberra and WA as to tax and royalties and whether they need to be on an equal basis between companies. The falling IOP led to that discussion in China and thus to Govt support of local miners. Our Govts might look at the Sing revelations and apply tax and royalties with discrimination between companies.
