It's funny how most of the commentators at the time got it wrong, so reading your efforts today
which are so far removed from what actually happened it is not surprising.
The Government tested the legality in every court in the country and came up short.
That is why Howard changed the Laws.
As I said before I have no problem with Howard changing the Laws except for the broad nature of the changes and the fact they were retrospective!
