The "madness" and "dumbest corporate play" as described by Colin Barnett is a one-off in our life time.
As Cliff's CEO said, unless you want to bastardize the IO price forever to keep your market share at much lower margin - absolutely stupid (cause the IO is still in the ground and mines will be re-opened or developed by someone else once the IOP recovers).
The Macrobusiness, Money Morning and Motley Fool mobs are sounding very indignant and angry.
