These are such nonsensical comments. TA doesn't DO anything to the market .. it is a REFLECTION of market sentiments such as market conviction for moves, resistance and sorry levels etc. And TA doesn't always give a tradable signal (at least a good one). if you are looking at daily charts then it will signal broader trends and potential impending weakness in the trend over a long period of time.
But it is always essentially behind the actual move because it is based on real time data. it is the interpretation of the data trend that then gives you a chance to front run a move (as indicated by mine and other posts during the uptrend).
I could go on but these are all straw men arguments you are furnishing. no one is actually proposing what you are railing against.
