China AM: Ferrous futures up as yuan weakens further
China’s ferrous futures increased during the morning session on Monday November 21 as the Chinese yuan depreciated further against the US dollar.
Futures closing prices – morning session Shanghai Futures Exchange January rebar: 2,758 yuan ($400), up 70 yuan ($10.20) January hot rolled coil: 3,167 yuan ($459.72), up 68 yuan ($9.90) Dalian Commodity Exchange January iron ore: 558 yuan ($81), up 20 yuan ($2.90)
