Good morning FMGers,
Watching a SKY business news programme last night which my wife recorded from Sky business daily (channel 602), on Foxtel for me, and they interviewed a lady who was commenting on the variance in the mining sector in Call options and Put options. She was surprised that BHP had mainly call options ( expiring Nov-Dec), And FMG whilst still having call options, put options were more predominate. She then mentioned ST SP variance in both BHP and FMG due to some recent shorts action.
Franky - or one of the team can you please explain to me how doess put options vary from a short and does understanding what calls/puts/shorts are in place on a stock give an understanding of the direction the SP maybe about to take?
If so what is your read on the impact thrse 3 cover products have in relation to FMG in the ST. (2-6 months )
I recently added to my stock levels ( by 15,000 shares) average price of 5.82 so I am hoping we see higher price today and in the future.
