Majak Nice to have you along. I was watching Shane Oliver tonight on Sky Business and he was very gung ho- He thinks the latest data show an unmistakable acceleration in the pace of world economic growth and that next year will be a year of significant earnings growth in Australia.
He said there was an absolute acceleration in the depth and breadth of the economic recovery in China, that the numbers on consumer spending and confidence in the US was a huge miss on the estimates to the high side and that the official US economic growth figures have recently been revised above 3.2%.
He also said the latest data out of Europe is showing an quickening of economic growth there so apart from Britain the global economy is really taking off and earnings growth and hence share price growth will be significantly higher in 2017.
